Off the floor and into the wall
The roll in use, the spares, the bin, the toilet brush, the spray bottle for cleaning. All of it normally sits on the floor around a toilet, and the toilet niche moves it inside the wall. Nothing is left standing on the tile, and what really changes is washing the floor, which becomes one pass with nothing to pick up first.
How the box is split
The box is split in two. The upper bay is open: 7 1/4 in of clear height carries the paper holder and a shelf, so the working roll stays within reach. The lower bay is closed, with 16 3/4 in of clear height for the polypropylene bin, the silicone toilet brush and its removable cup, the refillable spray bottle and the storage tray. The door opens on a push latch. A damper closes it, and it lifts off without tools for cleaning.
Dimensions and build
Two of the overall dimensions below read differently from one Zvelt document to the next, and the next section comes back to them.

Where the documents disagree
Overall height and overall depth are the two figures in question. Both appear above exactly as found, with no ruling made here. Ask Zvelt which figure holds. Ask before the wall gets cut.
Framing and fitting
The niche recesses into the wall. Frame a rough opening 11 in wide by 24 1/8 in high, in a cavity no shallower than 4 in. Settle that before anything else, finish included. A 2 × 4 stud wall gives only 3 1/2 in of cavity, so the job needs a deeper wall, a furred-out build-up, or 2 × 6 framing.
The box arrives factory-finished: no blocking to build, no inside corners to tile, no grout to pull inside. A niche built out of tile on site is framed first, then tiled inside the shower, where every inside corner is one more joint to get right. The flange laps 5/8 in over the tile and stands 3/16 in proud, covering the cut all the way round.
Waterproofing. Unlike Zvelt’s shower niche manuals, the toilet niche manual describes no waterproofing membrane step. The documentation does not say whether that is an omission or a decision. If your project puts the niche in a wet zone, have Zvelt confirm the point before installation.
Three finishes, and a warranty with no stated term
This model comes in three finishes: glossy white, matte white and matte black. The other five finishes in the Zvelt catalogue are not offered here. Matte and gloss cannot be told apart in a thumbnail, and reflection is what separates them. Gloss returns the light and the lines of the wall where matte absorbs them. Matte black turns the niche into a dark plane inside the wall rather than an object set on it; in white on a pale wall, it all but disappears.
The manufacturer’s warranty covers manufacturing defects. Neither the data sheet nor the installation manual for the toilet niche states a term, so confirm it with Zvelt before ordering. Zvelt is a Quebec manufacturer, based in Boucherville.
Installs easily with silicone on a 4-inch wall.
The niche can be installed on either drywall or tile.

Zvelt recommends cleaning the toilet niche with a damp cloth and mild soap. The use of brushes, abrasive products, scrapers, steel wool pads, and metal aerosol cans can damage the niche's surface and should be avoided. Use conventional non-abrasive cleaning products. IMPORTANT: Avoid prolonged contact with cleaning products, nail polish remover, hair removal cream, paint solvents, and steel accessories, as these can damage the finish.

Zvelt guarantees that, subject to the conditions and terms described below, the product sold conforms to its specifications and that, at the time of sale, the product is free from any manufacturing defects. Zvelt cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages caused by or resulting from unforeseen circumstances, labor costs, miscellaneous expenses, loss of time, materials, or other costs related to the application or replacement of the product or any of its components. In the event that a manufacturing defect appears, the purchaser/user must present proof of purchase and have followed the manufacturer's installation instructions. Zvelt may, at its sole discretion, replace the product at a pro rata price based on the current price. Zvelt reserves the right to have the defect inspected on-site by a representative of its choosing. This warranty excludes all costs related to travel, installation and/or removal, and transportation. This warranty does not cover breakage or defects resulting from accidents, disasters, acts of God, extreme temperature variations, exposure to chemicals, abrasives of any kind, or stains caused by different types of water (alkaline or ferrous). This warranty does not cover breakage or defects caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, improper installation, or the removal or addition of parts or equipment. The warranty is valid only if the user has followed the recommendations in the "Maintenance Guide" for Zvelt kennels and other products.
