A flick of the wrist. The door swings shut and the shower looks empty. The soap, the shampoo, the razor. None of it has gone anywhere. It has just gone behind a solid panel. The 12 × 12 in niche with door opens the Deluxe line, a single bay, fully closed by its door. In a tight shower, or where the shower wall is the first thing you see when you walk into the bathroom, no other format asks for so little wall and takes away so much clutter.
Hinges you work by hand
Behind the door sit a storage tray and multi-purpose hooks that take a razor, a toothbrush or a face cloth. The door lifts off and clicks back on with no tool at all, on Zvelt’s patented adjustable “Click-in / Click-out” hinges, so you wash it at the sink instead of overhead in the shower.
Cutting into the wall
Frame a rough opening 12 1/4 in wide and 12 1/8 in high, in a wall cavity at least 4 in deep. Nothing in the Deluxe line opens smaller. Because the box arrives factory-finished, there is no blocking to build, no inside corners to tile and no grout to pull inside it, which is where it parts ways with a site-built ceramic niche. The manual adds one optional step it recommends. Line the sides of the opening with drywall, then bond a waterproofing membrane inside before the niche goes in.

Six finishes and a two-year warranty
Brushed stainless steel, glossy white, matte white, matte black, black PVD, gold PVD. Whichever one you pick covers a single uninterrupted 13 1/4 in square of finished wall, where the finish behaves like a tap or a handle and decides whether the niche recedes into the tile or stands against it. Zvelt shower niches with doors carry a 2-year warranty. They are designed and manufactured in Boucherville, Quebec.

Important
Clean and rinse with clean water after each use.
Prolonged contact (30 days or more) with cleaning products such as soaps, shampoos, conditioners, or others may damage the finish of the niche and void the warranty if maintenance recommendations are not followed.
Direct contact with rust-prone metal containers or objects may attack stainless steel, paint or PVD finish.
Maintenance guide
- Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water after each use.
- Do not use abrasive tools or products.
- Wipe off excess water with a microfiber cloth.
Zvelt Product Warranty:
***The finish warranty will not be applicable if the product is not rinsed and wiped on a regular basis as mentioned in the maintenance guide.
-2 years for paint coating and brushed stainless steel finish.
- 3 years for a PVD coating.
Zvelt warrants that, subject to the terms and conditions described below, the product sold conforms to its specifications and that at the time of sale, the product is free from any defects and/or manufacturing faults.
Zvelt cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages caused or resulting from fortuitous events, labor costs, miscellaneous expenses, loss of time, materials or other costs relating to the application or replacement of the product or any of its components.
In the event that a manufacturing defect occurs, the purchaser-user must present proof of purchase and have followed the manufacturer's installation instructions.
Zvelt may, at its sole discretion, replace the product pro rata to the then-current price. Zvelt reserves the right to have the defect inspected on-site by a representative of its choice.
This warranty excludes any costs related to travel, installation and/or uninstallation costs and transportation costs.
This warranty does not cover breakages or defects resulting from accidents, disasters, Acts of God, intense temperature variations, exposure to chemicals, abrasives of any kind or stains caused by different types of water (alkaline water or ferrous water).
This warranty does not cover breakages or defects resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, improper installation, removal or addition of parts or equipment.
The warranty is only valid if the user has followed the recommendations in the "Maintenance Guide" for Zvelt kennels and other products. This documentation included in this document is also available on the website www.zvelt.ca
This warranty cannot be transferred to a third party.
