Anything you put in an open niche turns into decoration, whether or not that was the plan. A plastic bottle gets the same billing as a candle. This horizontal model cuts the box in two so you can choose, with one side left open for display and the other shut away behind a solid door. The bar of soap stays out. So do the small plant and the candle. The plastic bottles, the refills and the blades go behind the door.
Everything the door carries
The door carries a storage tray sized for products and bottles, and multi-purpose hooks for a razor, a toothbrush, a face cloth. Zvelt’s patented adjustable “Click-in / Click-out” hinges let the door lift off and click back without tools.

The rough opening is 24 1/4 in wide by 12 1/8 in high, in a wall no less than 4 in deep. Two feet of clear width takes planning, so have your contractor confirm the framing before anything gets cut. After that the job is short. The box arrives finished, its 5/8 in flange laps over the tile cut, and nothing inside needs tiling or grout. The manual adds one optional step it recommends: drywall on the sides of the opening, then a bonded waterproofing membrane inside.
Where the six finishes land
The niche comes in six finishes: brushed stainless steel, glossy white, matte white, matte black, black PVD and gold PVD. On this model the finish covers the door and the back of the open bay, under different light. Glossy white bounces the shower light back; matte black cuts a flat shadow instead.
Zvelt niches with doors carry a two-year warranty. Each one is manufactured in Boucherville, Quebec.

Important
Clean and rinse with clean water after each use.
Prolonged contact (30 days or more) with cleaning products such as soaps, shampoos, conditioners, or others may damage the finish of the niche and void the warranty if maintenance recommendations are not followed.
Direct contact with rust-prone metal containers or objects may attack stainless steel, paint or PVD finish.
Maintenance guide
- Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water after each use.
- Do not use abrasive tools or products.
- Wipe off excess water with a microfiber cloth.
Zvelt Product Warranty:
***The finish warranty will not be applicable if the product is not rinsed and wiped on a regular basis as mentioned in the maintenance guide.
-2 years for paint coating and brushed stainless steel finish.
- 3 years for a PVD coating.
Zvelt warrants that, subject to the terms and conditions described below, the product sold conforms to its specifications and that at the time of sale, the product is free from any defects and/or manufacturing faults.
Zvelt cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages caused or resulting from fortuitous events, labor costs, miscellaneous expenses, loss of time, materials or other costs relating to the application or replacement of the product or any of its components.
In the event that a manufacturing defect occurs, the purchaser-user must present proof of purchase and have followed the manufacturer's installation instructions.
Zvelt may, at its sole discretion, replace the product pro rata to the then-current price. Zvelt reserves the right to have the defect inspected on-site by a representative of its choice.
This warranty excludes any costs related to travel, installation and/or uninstallation costs and transportation costs.
This warranty does not cover breakages or defects resulting from accidents, disasters, Acts of God, intense temperature variations, exposure to chemicals, abrasives of any kind or stains caused by different types of water (alkaline water or ferrous water).
This warranty does not cover breakages or defects resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, improper installation, removal or addition of parts or equipment.
The warranty is only valid if the user has followed the recommendations in the "Maintenance Guide" for Zvelt kennels and other products. This documentation included in this document is also available on the website www.zvelt.ca
This warranty cannot be transferred to a third party.
